Overview:
Identify Solutions are searching for a dynamic Finance Director to join the Senior Management Team and play a pivotal role in shaping an established retail company's financial and strategic direction. Based in Cardiff, this position will drive financial performance, support the business strategy, and help steer the company towards sustainable growth.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have a solid finance leadership background and a hands-on approach, thriving in a fast-paced, challenging environment. You will have the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, with the CEO and Senior Management Team. Experience in retail or FMCG sectors is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance, Loss Prevention, and Retail Support teams, ensuring timely, accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Support the development of business strategies and provide financial guidance to drive company growth.
• Ensure robust financial systems and controls are in place to support current operations and future expansion.
• Oversee cash management to meet day-to-day and strategic needs.
• Manage external stakeholder relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive efficiency in the Distribution Centres and E-fulfilment Centre to optimise supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong strategic, commercial, and analytical skills.
• Proven leadership in a commercial environment; retail or FMCG experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
