Senior Python Engineer

Remote (office visit circa 1x per quarter)

Want to shape a next-gen Fintech platform from the ground up?

We're looking for a Senior Python Engineer to help build a new internal platform used to model complex business decisions. You'll join at an early stage, transforming existing tools into scalable, secure, production-grade software while influencing architecture, engineering standards and technical direction.

What you'll be doing

• Building cloud-native applications with Python
• Taking products and features from concept through to production
• Shaping architecture and engineering best practices
• Championing testing, CI/CD and secure software development
• Working closely with technical and domain experts
• Mentoring others and helping grow engineering capability

What we're looking for

• Strong commercial Python experience
• Experience delivering software end-to-end
• AWS/cloud experience
• CI/CD and modern engineering practices
• Secure software development knowledge
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset

Bonus points for: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Terraform, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, microservices or event-driven architectures.
