Application Support Engineer – DV Cleared - £550.00 per day Outside IR35 – Onsite

Day Rate: Up to £550.00 per day (Outside IR35)

Duration: 6 Months (Long term project, extensions very likely)

Office Location: London & Cheltenham (5 days per week at either office is required)

*****Clearances: MUST HAVE Active DV Clearance*****

A security and defence tech consultancy is looking for a DV Cleared Application Support Engineer on a contract basis for at least the next 6 months.

You will be part of an on-site team responsible for maintaining and supporting a managed cross-domain service utilizing diverse technologies, platforms, and tools.

The team uses site reliability engineering tools and practices to continuously verify and enhance the service.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in a managed service environment with a strong focus on service delivery and customer outcomes
• Application development using Java or similar
• Git version control
• Critical thinker with the ability to analyse problems, test hypotheses, and make informed risk decisions
• Ability to quickly prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities during incident response scenarios

It would be a bonus if you had any experience in application deployment and administration using micro-service architectures, asynchronous messaging, terraform/ansible, or Oracle.
