Job Description

Programme Delivery Manager - Drive complex change, shape delivery your way

If you’re a Programme Manager who thrives on variety, ownership and genuine business-critical transformation, this could be your next step.

We’re working with a growing consulting firm that’s building out its programme delivery function to meet demand from some of the UK’s biggest names in Financial Services.

This is a chance to move beyond being a cog in a giant machine; you’ll shape how delivery happens, not just execute someone else’s playbook.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading complex, multi-workstream change programmes - everything from regulatory initiatives to full operating model redesigns.
  • Designing delivery frameworks from scratch and adapting your approach to fit each unique client.
  • Working directly with C-level execs to shape strategy and solve critical challenges.
  • Supporting a friendly, collaborative team that values both high standards and a healthy balance.

What we’re looking for

This isn’t one for first-time Programme Managers or those outside FS.

We’re after someone who’s operated at this level before and brings:

  • Extensive Financial Services experience — ideally within Insurance, Life, Pensions or Investments.
  • A strong consulting background, comfortable being the face of complex programmes and building instant credibility with clients.
  • A proven track record of delivering large, multi-stream, high-£ change initiatives.
  • Confidence engaging at Board / C-suite level, plus the gravitas and adaptability to win trust in ambiguous environments.
  • The right personality fit: you’ll be trusted to run big programmes, but still be humble and collaborative enough to support the team around you.

What’s on offer

  • ~£100k + car allowance + bonus + solid benefits.
  • Hybrid working: typically one day a week in your nearest office (South West, North or London), with travel to client sites as needed.
  • A grown-up, non-political culture that values getting the job done well, without the long-hours hero badge.

  • Even if you’re not actively looking, it could be worth exploring. There aren’t many opportunities that combine variety, autonomy and genuine C-suite impact quite like this.
