Product Specialist – Medical Device (Seating)
£35,000–£45,000 + benefits + development support
Hybrid – Bridgend
UK travel required (some EU travel)
A global medical device manufacturer is seeking a Product Specialist to take ownership of their Medium Active & Specialist Seating portfolio, including wheelchairs, seating systems and positioning products. This is a hybrid role combining product management, technical expertise, clinical understanding and marketing support, and being the internal expert and external product champion.
The Role

Become the category expert, understanding products inside-out (technical, mechanical, ergonomic and clinical).

Manage product documentation, including prescription forms, technical materials and product information.

Support product lifecycle: pre/post-market surveillance, competitor monitoring, and portfolio refinement.

Provide technical support and training to internal teams, customers and clinicians.

Work with Marketing on product launches, campaigns, messaging and positioning.

Collaborate across engineering, sales, clinical teams and international business units.

Attend UK field visits, events, exhibitions and occasional EU meetings.

Hybrid role with regular attendance required at the Bridgend office.

Genuine enthusiasm for understanding products deeply and turning insight into action.
Ideal Background
-
Experience in product management, clinical/rehab engineering, medical devices, mobility/seating, or similar technical/healthcare environment.

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Product Management, Engineering/Medical Engineering, Business or related.

Strong IT skills — Excel proficiency is particularly important.

Full UK driving licence.
