Are you a PHP engineer looking for a role where you can solve real problems, work with experienced developers and have room to grow?

 

A fast‑growing SaaS company is searching for a midlevel Software Engineer to join their backend team in Exeter. Their platform helps organisations in construction and field services move from slow, paper‑based processes to smart digital workflows.

 

This role is all about backend engineering. You’ll fix complex issues, improve performance, build new features and work closely with a strong senior team. Expect intricate business logic, interesting challenges and a supportive culture. There is no on‑call work and almost no client interaction, thanks to a dedicated support function.

 

What you need:- solid commercial PHP experience, strong debugging ability, and confidence working with backend logic. Symfony is helpful but not essential.
