I am working with an independent insights agency who specialise in social research, consumer and B2B, and health and pharma market research who are are recruiting for an innovative Research Director for their social research division who are currently going through a scale-up phase, to take on a strategic role and create, develop and executive their quant research offering.

They work with a range of government departments and Universities, on projects around climate change and environmental sustainability, public policies, EDI work, and behavioural science studies.

Over the last 3 years, they have won several awards for their great work including:

• Research Winner, 2023 MRS Awards
• end of 2022 the won the most innovative method at the Analysis in Government
• Best New Venture, 2021 MRS Awards

About you:

• As a small but growing team (current sitting on a headcount of 10), we are looking for someone who can have accountability for creating the strategy but more importantly, executing it.
• A strong qual social researcher (as a senior level) and good knowledge of the pace of the agency world
• A passion for social research and a desire to disrupt the market through innovative ideas
• Experience of behavioural science, complex sampling, and evaluation work

Research Manager / Senior Research Manager

London / Hybrid

Identify Solutions are delighted to working with a large independent UK public policy and social research agency who conduct many of the largest and highest profile studies in the sector. Covering quantitative and qualitative methodologies with a range of expertise across regulated businesses including energy and environment, education and large government departments, the agency work with business to ensure their objectives are achieved using both long term trackers as well as ad-hoc trackers.

Due to growth, we are searching for Research Managers, or a Senior Research Managers across their teams: 

• Community Team - working with clients within welfare and wellbeing, and housing
• Education - higher education, and learning and skills
• Economy - focusing on energy and environment, regulation, business and enterprise.

About you:

• You will have experience of working on projects in a similar sector to one of the above (ideally 3+ years)
• Have used both qual and quant methodologies, but it is fine to be a leaning towards one or the other.
• Have a passion for social research
• Have a desire to continue your career within an agency environment

What you will receive:

• Salary of £36,000 - £49,000, depending on experience

The Role: We are currently seeking a Research Executive/Senior Research Executive with a focus on quantitative projects. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our capabilities by providing post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) data on the safety and performance of our clients' medical device products to support regulatory submissions. Your responsibilities will include designing online quantitative surveys, overseeing projects, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports for leading global medical device manufacturers.

Who We're Looking For: To excel in this role, we're seeking candidates who:

• Have 1-2 years of experience as a Research Executive or Senior Research Executive, with a solid understanding of the research process.
• Aspire to progress to the Senior Research Executive level within the next two years (if not already).
• Possess a proven track record of end-to-end project management.
• Prefer working on quantitative projects and have experience designing online surveys.
• Excel at analysing, interpreting, and presenting data accurately in various formats.
• Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Have excellent communication abilities and can engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Ideally, have experience in post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) data collection, although alternative experiences will be considered.
• Show desirable knowledge of the healthcare/medical device market, but alternative backgrounds will also be considered.

Salary & Benefits: 

• Competitive starting salary: £28,000-32,000 per annum (Research Executive) / £32,000-36,000 per annum (Senior Research Executive).
